Since 2011, St. Lucia Distillers has been creating a unique blend of rums to celebrate the founding of the Dennery Distillery in 1931.
Each year, 6,000 individually numbered bottles are released, labelled in a characteristic colour chosen for each edition. The Third Edition was created in 2013 and is intended to celebrate the 82nd Anniversary of the Dennery distillery. It is a blend of rums aged for 6 to 12 years, stored in bourbon and port barrels, blended from distillates from both traditional copper stills and distillation columns. A total of 9 barrels were used to blend this edition, including 7 bourbon and 2 port barrels. After blending the individual distillates, the final product matures for another 3 months.
Aroma: Complex, rich. Accents of honey, fruit, vanilla and spices.
Taste : Round and smooth, intense and rich, with accents of tropical fruit, oak and honey notes. Long, aromatic finish.
