Product description
The Links series is the brainchild of Bruichladdich master distiller Jim McEwan, whose life is filled with two passions – whisky and golf.
The series debuted in 2003 with the 'Old Course St. Andrews' edition, and each subsequent edition was dedicated to a famous golf club. The labels, as well as the metal case, were decorated with their images painted by Graham W. Baxter. The sixth edition immortalised the K Club (Kildare Hotel and Golf Club), which had been operating since 1991. The club is based in Straffan, about 30 minutes from Dublin. The whiskies used in this edition were aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Guigal Cote Rôtie and Hermitage Rouge wine casks. This 12,000-bottle edition was launched in 2007.
