Product description
The Links series is the brainchild of Bruichladdich master distiller Jim McEwan, whose life is filled with two passions – whisky and golf. The series debuted in 2003 with the 'Old Course St. Andrews' edition and each subsequent one was dedicated to a famous golf club.
The labels, as well as the metal case, featured their likenesses painted by Graham W. Baxter. The seventh edition immortalized Carnoustie Golf Links, a club with four courses where golf was said to have been played as early as the 16th century. The whiskies used in this edition were aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-Bordeaux casks from the famous Château Haut-Brion vineyard. The 12,000-bottle edition was released in July 2007.
