Jack Daniel’s has been by far the most popular American whiskey with 13.3 million cases sold globally (2018).
If we took Indian blends out of equation (they are made with the spirit distilled from sugar molasses), it is the second best selling whiskey brand in the world after Johnnie Walker. In 2011 Jack Daniel’s entered fast growing flavored whiskey category with the launch of Tennessee Honey. The honey version of Jack Daniel’s was a tremendous success with about 2 million cases sold globally in 2018. Three years later Tennessee Fire was introduced, a blend of red-hot cinnamon liqueur and classic Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 whiskey. The fall of 2019 brought the third flavor of Jack Daniel’s – Tennessee Apple, a blend of apple liqueur (made of Granny Smith, McIntosh and Red Delicious varieties) and classic Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 whiskey, bottled at 35% abv.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple displays strong aromas of apples, notes of vanilla, brown sugar and hard candy. On the palate distinctive apple flavor, combined with notes of honey, caramel, buttered popcorn and sugared almonds.
