Product description
Glenfiddich Bourbon Barrel Reserve is a nod from William Grant to the bourbon producers and their long association with Scotland.
The whiskey debuted in the fall of 2015 on the American market, which remains its exclusive recipient. It is blended from distillates aged for 14 years in bourbon barrels and finished in fresh, charred barrels from The Kelvin Cooperage, a cooperage based in Louisville, Kentucky. The press release states that this edition “highlights the contribution bourbon has made to the single malt segment for centuries.”
The whiskey is presented in a navy blue tube, the same color as the Kentucky state flag.
