Product description
The Finsbury Distillery in London was founded in 1740 by Joseph Bishop. The distillery produced several popular spirits, including Stone's Ginger Wine, but its main product was gin.
The distillery closed after more than 200 years, while the rights to the Finsbury brand have belonged to Borco Import GmbH (a German private company founded in 1948) since 1994, which advertises it under the slogan Originals don't change, which roughly means "The principles remain unchanged". The current Finsbury gin is distilled at the Thames Distillery in London and is distributed in over thirty countries; it is most popular in Scandinavia and Germany. Each of the botanicals is distilled separately to extract the maximum aroma and flavor. The Finsbury formula remains a closely guarded secret, we only know that it contains juniper berries, cinnamon, coriander seeds, lemon and orange peel. The presented Wild Strawberry Gin debuted in 2020 and represents the extremely dynamically developing "Pink Gin" category. This is Finsbury London Dry Gin enriched with notes of wild strawberries and other red berries.
Finsbury Wild Strawberry Gin offers typical gin notes of juniper, lemon peel, coriander and liquorice tempered with a hint of strawberry sweetness. We recommend serving it with just ice or Schweppes tonic with fresh strawberries.
