Product description
Millstone single malt debuted in 2007 in Zuidam Distillery's offering. The plant has been operating since 1975 and originally produced genever, gin, vodka and liqueurs, and began distilling whiskey in 1998.
Currently, Zuidam is equipped with five stills of different capacities and produces around 280 thousand liters of distillate per year. In addition to single malt whisky (both unpeated and peated), rye whisky is also bottled under the Millstone brand. The Millstone 10 years old presented here is a whisky distilled in April 2008, aged in French barrels and bottled in June 2017 (which effectively makes it a 9-year-old whisky).
