Product description
Brandy Carlos I is named after Charles V (1500-1558), King of Spain and Holy Roman Emperor.
In 1772, James Duff and Juan Haurie founded the company, soon joined by Thomas Osborne Mann as a partner; in 1857, his descendants became sole owners of the company. Today, 250 years later, Osborne is a producer and distributor of wines, brandies and other spirits, as well as high-end food products. In 2020, Osborne Group was named “Brandy Producer of the Year.” The Carlos I 1520 presented here refers to the year of Charles V’s coronation and combines elements of all versions of Carlos I Gran Reserva. This brandy has won numerous awards and accolades, including Silver at the 2020 International Wine & Spirits Competition and Gold at the World Spirits Awards the following year.
