Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey /50%/ 0.7l

Heaven's Door Spirits is the result of collaboration between Bob Dylan, legendary singer, composer and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature (2016), and Spirit Investment Partnership.

Whiskey Heaven's Door debuted in April 2018 in three versions - Tennessee Straight Bourbon, Straight Rye and Double Barrel Whiskey. We don't know much about the latter, according to the producer's statement it is "a blend of three different whiskeys subjected to a final, one-year maturation in new, toasted American oak barrels". Bob Dylan himself had a significant hand in developing the presentation, or rather his metalworking studio "Black Buffalo Ironworks". The artist used objects found in farmsteads and scrapyards scattered all over America.  

Aroma: crème brûlée, vanilla, coconut flakes, cinnamon buns, cornflakes, a pinch of pepper and nutmeg, dried fruit and oak. 

Palate : lots of oak, vanilla, caramel, milk fudge, marzipan, cocoa powder, roasted peanuts, hints of licorice and white pepper. 

Finish : medium long, with notes of vanilla, caramel, popcorn, cinnamon, pepper, oak and a touch of mint.
