Product description
Hepburn's Choice is a line of whiskies from the Langside Distillers portfolio, founded in 1948 and now a subsidiary of Hunter Laing & Company.
Its patron is William Hepburn, the maternal grandfather of the Laing brothers, a diplomat and a great whisky connoisseur. Hepburn's Choice whiskies come from single casks, are bottled at 46% abv, without chill filtration and with a natural colour. The Teaninich presented here, distilled in 2007, spent 10 years in a refilled sherry butt, and was bottled in 2018 in an edition of 804 bottles. Teaninich Distillery, based in the northern Highlands, is one of Diageo's largest malt distilleries - equipped with six pairs of stills, it produces almost 10 million litres of distillate per year.
