Product description
Auchentoshan Distillery was built in 1823 on the outskirts of Glasgow, nestling between the Kilpatrick Hills and the River Clyde. The distillery has three stills and can produce 2 million litres of spirit per year. It is also the only distillery in Scotland to use only triple distillation, and its middle cut is very narrow – the spirit is taken from 82% abv to 80%. Auchentoshan is a candidate for Hunter Laing & Co.’s Old Malt Cask range. Distilled in May 1997, it was aged in a refill hogshead cask , HL 15698, for over two decades.
