Product description
The name of the distillery "Glengoyne" comes from the Gaelic "Glen Guin" and means "Valley of the Wild Geese". The whisky produced there since 1833 has long been the main component of several significant blends (Cutty Sark, Famous Grouse and Lang's). In 2003, the owner of the plant became Ian Macleod Distillers, which set itself the goal of achieving sales of one million bottles per year. The Glengoyne 14 years old presented here is a whisky distilled in August 2005 and aged in a refilled hogshead cask no. DL 13726. Bottled in November 2019 at 48.4% abv and without chill filtration in an edition limited to 330 bottles.
