Product description
Drumshanbo whiskey is a product of Shed Distillery, founded in 2014 by Patrick J. Rigney, a man with over 30 years of experience in the alcoholic beverages sector.
Based in the village of Drumshanbo in County Leitrim, Ireland, the distillery has five small pot stills and three stills. The Drumshanbo brand is probably best known for its gin, which has been on the market for a few years and has garnered rave reviews. The unofficial launch took place in December 2017 and featured a spirit from the early days of distillation. The Drumshanbo Single Pot Still presented here is a triple-distilled whiskey from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, with a small amount of oats (Barra variety), aged in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks.
