Product description
Savanna Rum was founded in the 1870s in Saint Paul on Reunion Island, a French overseas possession in the Indian Ocean.
It took its name from an estate where a sugar cane plantation and a sugar mill were located at the beginning of the 19th century. However, the intensive development of the distillery and expansion into world markets did not occur until the end of the 20th century.
Savanna Creol Straight is a white rum, made from fresh sugar cane juice (rhum agricole), distilled in a Savalle copper column, bottled in May 2019. This rum was not diluted before bottling, so it has an ABV of 67.2%. Limited edition to 1350 bottles.
