Product description
Perro de San Juan is a young brand, founded in 2016, after 15 years of work, exploration, research, travelling and experience, and – above all – love for mezcal.
It was one of the young stars of the ProWein 2019 fair, where it was showcased alongside tequila Corralejo and Los Arango. Mezcal Perro de San Juan is crafted in the town of San Dionisio Ocotepec in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It is made from 100% agave espadin (Agave angustifolia). The name of the mezcal refers to a breed of dogs that got extinct in the 1980s, called St John’s water dogs perro de San Juan.
