Product description
The Château du Breuil estate, founded in the 15th century, is located on the Pays d'Auge plain, famous for its cool climate.
The climate is conducive to the growth of apples with an exceptionally rich flavor. The first mentions of alcohol production on the estate date back to the 16th century. Château du Breuil is famous for its apple-based spirits. In Vieille Prune, plums were used as the raw material, as the name suggests. The alcohol is produced from 4 varieties of plums, originating from Alsace. It is then transported to Normandy in barrels supplied by Château Du Breuil. The alcohol spends up to 6 years in barrels under the watchful eye of the Cellar Master, thanks to which it acquires a beautiful amber color and smooth taste.
