Product description
Warner's Distillery is one of the greatest successes of British micro-distilleries.
It was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards as Warner Edwards Distillery (Edwards withdrew in 2016 and after a few years the distillery changed its name to Warner's). Warner and Edwards met while studying agriculture in 1997 and after a few years working in food technology, they started their own business. Initially, they intended to produce aromatic oils, they also considered vodka, and finally settled on their favorite drink, gin. The Warner's London Dry formula was developed in 2018 and contains 11 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander and cardamom seeds, elderberry, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, lemon and orange peel, and one that the creators do not disclose. The gin is distilled in a copper still on a farm (Falls Farm) in Northamptonshire. In 2019, Warner's London Dry Gin won a double gold medal at the World Spirit Competition in San Francisco.
"This gin has a sweet, floral aroma, and the elderberry integrates wonderfully with the lemon and spicy cardamom. The palette features strong juniper notes balanced with orange sorbet and a mint leaf." Warner's London Dry is best enjoyed with Fever Tree Indian tonic and a slice of fresh orange.
