Product description
Warner's Distillery (originally named Warner Edwards Distillery) was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards.
Its headquarters is the Falls Farm in Northamptonshire, where the owners grow the so-called "botanicals" used later in the gin formula; there is also a spring from which they draw water for production. In 2016, the partners separated and after a few years the company changed its name to Warner's Distillery. The company's current offer includes over 10 gins, the vast majority of which have won awards and medals at international competitions and exhibitions. The Spring Blossom Gin presented here, a limited edition of 5,000 bottles, is one of the company's latest proposals (spring 2020). It is inspired by the first spring flowers blooming on the farm and the traditional bouquet that we give to mothers on their day. The gin is formulated with 15 botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander, grains of paradise, lavender, rosehips, elderberry, raspberries, mandarin and grapefruit peels, rose water, chamomile and evening primrose.
"The floral aromatic bouquet combines scents of lavender, fresh grapefruit, elderberry, mandarin and forest berries. On the palate, the subtle spiciness of grains of paradise and juniper is wonderfully complemented by notes of grapefruit and elderberry, while the finish is dominated by lavender, mandarin and raspberry." This "spring" gin is best enjoyed with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic and a slice of grapefruit.
