Product description
Warner's Distillery (originally named Warner Edwards Distillery) was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards.
It is based at Falls Farm in Northamptonshire, where the botanicals used in the gin are grown, and there is also a small apiary and a spring. In 2016, the partners parted ways and after a few years, the company changed its name to Warner's Distillery. Lemon Balm Gin debuted in autumn 2016 (still under the Warner Edwards brand), and was inspired by Tom Warner's mother, Adèle, a keen gardener and herb lover. The gin's formula includes the following botanicals: juniper berries, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lemon thyme, coriander seed, lemon peel, angelica root, licorice, bee pollen, pink peppercorn, grapefruit, cinnamon and lavender. Warner's Lemon Balm Gin has won several prestigious awards, including a gold medal at the 2018 Berlin International Spirit Competition.
"Fresh lemon balm and juniper burst with intensity, while verbena announces the arrival of lemon sorbet, paired with honeyed figs and a touch of thyme. The long finish features notes of red pepper, citrus and soft lavender." Warner's Lemon Balm Gin is best enjoyed with tonic water and any herbs.
