Product description
Warner's Distillery is probably the most successful British craft distillery scene.
It was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards as Warner Edwards Distillery (Edwards withdrew in 2016 and the distillery soon changed its name to Warner's). Their first product (December 2012) was Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Gin, which was very well received by the market. One of the company's latest offerings is Apple & Pear Gin, released in 2019 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Joules (a manufacturer of clothing and accessories inspired by the lifestyle of the British province), which is headquartered nearby. As we learn from the label, 1/3 of the bottle's content is juice from fresh local apples, pears and elderberries. We do not know the full list of botanical ingredients of the formula, it probably included juniper berries, coriander seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, angelica root, black pepper, orange and lemon peel.
"The bouquet is aromatic with a combination of elderberry, black pepper and cashews. The taste is a harmonious trio of cardamom, juniper and lychee, and the finish is a fresh fruit wave straight from the village orchard." Warner's Apple & Pear Gin is best served with tonic and a slice of fresh apple.
