Product description
Islay Mist is a blended whisky brand from MacDuff International's portfolio.
Its formula was developed in 1928 by Ian Hunter, then Laphroaig's master distiller, to celebrate the coming of age of John Granville Morrison, the son of a local notable. The main components were Laphroaig and Glenlivet. In 1992, Islay Mist became the property of MacDuff International, and was soon reformulated and presented with a new graphic design. The man responsible for the brand today is Macduff International's master blender Gilmour Burnett. The 10-year-old version presented here joined the range in 2019.
