Product description
FEW Spirits was founded in 2011 by Paul Hletko, a former patent lawyer. Its portfolio includes bourbon, rye whiskey and gin.
Flaming Lips Brainville Rye, a collaboration between Paul Hletko and the psychedelic rock band The Flaming Lips, debuted in 2016 (its name refers to the 1995 song “Brainville”). The whiskey formula lists 70% rye, 20% corn, and 10% malted barley. The fermentation process uses French wine yeast, and the whiskey was aged in small, charred American oak barrels from a producer in Minnesota. The psychedelic label was designed by Justin Helton of Status Serigraph studio in Knoxville, and the edition consisted of 5,000 bottles.
