Product description
Aberlour 12 years old is currently the most popular version of this single malt.
The distillery is located in Speyside and equipped with two pairs of stills can produce 3.8 million liters of distillate per year. Since 1974, Aberlour has been owned by Pernod Ricard, so it is no wonder that it remains the most popular single malt on the French market (globally, with sales of around 4 million bottles, it ranks sixth). Aberlour 12 years old is a blend of distillates aged in bourbon and sherry casks. The result of this marriage is an extremely "friendly" and perfectly balanced whisky, suitable for serving on any occasion. We add two tasting glasses to the bottle.
Nose: rich and balanced, pears, apples, dried plums, walnuts, oak chips and the breath of the earth after the rain.
Palate: delicate notes of sherry, milk chocolate, cinnamon buns, ginger, raisins, nutmeg and a little oak.
Finish : medium long and warming, with notes of milk chocolate, raisins, caramel, a pinch of spices and oak.
