Mount Gay XO Peat Smoke Expression Rum, Port Charlotte Finish / 57% / 0.7l

Mount Gay XO Peat Smoke is a blend of distillates from rectifying columns and traditional pot stills.

They matured in American bourbon oak barrels for 8 to 15 years. Finally, they were placed in barrels from the smoky, peaty Port Charlotte malt Scotch whisky from Islay for 6 months. This rum was bottled at natural cask strength, in this case 57%, in a limited edition of 6,120 individually numbered bottles. This edition debuted on the market in October 2018.

Aroma: Notes of orange peel, caramel, bay leaf, tobacco, sweet smoke, vanilla.

Taste: Notes of smoke, caramel, bananas, nuts, dried fruit, vanilla, bananas, dark chocolate.

Finish: Long, fruity and spicy.
