Product description

Mezcal Casamigos is a sister brand of the Tequila Casamigos brand founded by, among others, Hollywood star George Clooney.

According to one of the co-founders of Casamigos, they received this mezcal from a family that has been producing it for five generations. Casamigos mezcal is made in the town of Santiago Matatlan in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It is made from 100% Espadin agave, distilled twice in traditional copper pot stills. It is bottled in the form of joven, which means without maturing in oak barrels, but after a 30-day “rest” in steel vats. It debuted on the market in 2018.

Aroma: Roasted agave, fruit, smoke, spices, mineral notes.

Taste: Smoke, agave, herbs, exotic fruits and white pepper.

Finish: Medium long, mineral and peppery.
