Product description
Glen Garioch is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries remaining in operation in the 21st century.
It was founded in 1797 and currently belongs to the Beam Suntory group and equipped with three stills (one has not been used for years) it can produce about 1.3 million liters of distillate per year. Since 1994, the local whisky has been devoid of smoky and peaty tones, previously the plant produced malt itself, in which the concentration of phenol compounds was about 10 ppm. Glen Garioch Virgin Oak debuted in 2013 and received favorable reviews. The Batch No. 2 from 2019 presented here contains whisky aged exclusively in virgin barrels made of white American oak.
