Product description
Nolet Distillery has a history of over 325 years; the Nolets have been distilling since 1691 in Schiedam, the Dutch capital of gin, making them one of the oldest gin producers.
The company also produces Ketel One vodka, which debuted in 1983 and brought huge commercial success. The Nolet's Silver Gin presented here is the creation of brothers Carl Jr. and Bob Nolet (eleventh generation of the founding family) and their father Carolus Sr. Its profile differs significantly from classic gins, juniper berries fade into the background here, giving way to raspberries, peaches, citrus peels and Turkish rose, with a small addition of orris root and licorice. They are individually macerated and then distilled with wheat alcohol.
Nolet's Silver is a delicate, fruity and floral gin, with notes of rose extract, fresh peaches and raspberries, and notes of juniper, orris root and licorice in the background. It tastes great with sweet vermouth or champagne (e.g. in the Hendrick's Royal Rose cocktail), but we advise against serving it in a classic Martini. We add a classic Copa de Balon glass to the bottle.
