Product description
BenRiach Cask Strength debuted in March 2016, just before the acquisition of the assets of BenRiach Distillery Company by the American concern Brown-Forman.
It was an “unpeated whisky” aged in American oak barrels and bottled in its natural state. A year later, the company introduced BenRiach Cask Strength in a “Peated” version, made from distillates aged in bourbon and sherry casks. In the words of Stewart Buchanan, the brand’s global ambassador, “BenRiach Peated Cask Strength Batch #1 is a malt whisky with a solid concentration of phenolics, while still retaining the distillery’s regional character.”
