Product description
The Teelings are a family with a distilling tradition dating back to 1782, when Walter Teeling opened his own distillery in Dublin.
Over 200 years later, John Teeling purchased an ethanol facility and converted it to whiskey distilling. Cooley Distillery remained in family ownership for almost a quarter of a century, and after selling it to Jim Beam Global, John Teeling and his sons began the business as Teeling Whiskey Company as an Independent Bottler. It is an open secret that Teeling whiskey, both malt and grain, comes from Cooley Distillery. The Teeling Small Batch presented here is a whiskey blended from 35% malt and 65% grain, aged in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in ex-rum barrels. In 2017, this whiskey won a gold medal at The Irish Whiskey Masters.
