Product description
Haig Club Clubman Single Grain Whisky is a contemporary, elegant Single Grain Scotch whisky, created in partnership with Diageo, British entrepreneur Simon Fuller and sports icon David Beckham. Produced at the famous Cameronbridge Distillery in Scotland, the oldest operating grain distillery, founded in 1824. Matured exclusively in American Bourbon barrels.
In August 2016, Diageo, inspired by advertising materials from the 1920s in which Haig was referred to as "The Clubman's Whisky", proposed the version presented here. The whisky is distilled in the Cameronbridge distillery from a mash consisting of 90% wheat and 10% barley malt, and American oak barrels were used in the maturation process. Like the original Haig, Clubman is bottled without specifying the age, but while in the first case distillates aged for an average of 6 to 7 years were used, here this period was shorter, which is why the producer recommends serving it with Coca-Cola. The characteristic cuboid bottle refers to the luxury style of the brand.
