Cacique is a brand that has been on the market since 1959. Venezuelan rum from molasses, distilled in both traditional pot stills and column stills.
The word "cacique" means "tribal chief" in Spanish and is borrowed from the Arawak languages spoken by the Indians of Central and South America. The brand belongs to Diageo, the largest alcohol corporation in the world, owner of brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Bulleit, Guinness, as well as Ron Zacapa, Captain Morgan and Pampero rums.
Cacique Anejo Superior Rum is a blend of seven different rums, aged to varying degrees, produced on the basis of molasses, but using three different distillation regimes.
Aroma : Oak, caramel, coffee, honey, spices.
Taste: Toffee, caramel, vanilla, coffee, a hint of exotic fruit, cinnamon and cloves.
Finish: Medium long, oaky and spicy.
