Product description
Larios ranks sixth in the statistics of the most popular gins with annual sales of over 1.5 million cases (2018).
The brand is part of the Beam Suntory portfolio, although its roots date back to 1866. That was when French winemaker Charles Lamothe and Spaniard Fernando Jimenez founded the Jimenez Lamothe Spirit Company, whose products we would now classify as premium. In 1916, the company was taken over by José Aurelio Larios, who named it after himself; Larios Gin was registered as a brand in 1932. It is currently produced by the Spanish branch of Beam Suntory Destilerias y Crianza. The Larios Rosé presented here debuted in 2015. Its base is quadruple distilled spirit, and its basic ingredients are juniper berries, strawberries and Mediterranean citrus fruits: oranges, tangerines, limes, lemons, clementines, grapefruits and orange blossoms. Its presentation and pink colour are undoubtedly eye-catching.
Larios Rosé is a very delicate, one could say feminine gin, whose palette is filled with strawberries, juicy citrus and subtle notes of juniper in the background. We recommend serving it with an ice cube and with Prosecco and a strawberry.
