Crafter’s gin is a product of Liviko, Estonia’s national producer of over 70 quality alcoholic beverages.
The company was founded in 1898 and operates in all three Baltic States – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Crafter’s London Dry formula was developed by Hanna Kaur, who tried dozens of botanical combinations before settling on the final recipe No. 23. The gin is distilled in pot still in small batches in the company’s Tallinn facility using following botanicals – juniper, veronica, fennel seeds, lime peel, grapefruit peel, cumin, aniseed, yarrow, oregano and mint. In 2017 Crafter’s London Dry Gin scored two medals, silver at the International Wine & Spirit Competition and gold at the Spirits International Prestige. The company follows ‘Zero waste philosophy’; juniper berries once used for gin distillation are re-used in production of juniper berry drink.
Crafter’s London Dry is very fresh artisan gin. The notes of citrusy juniper are followed by fennel and floral softness of veronica, what makes Crafter’s perfect choice for cocktail enthusiasts. It works well with high quality tonics when garnished with rosemary or, especially in the summer, with tonic, strawberries and basil.
