Vana Tallinn Liqueur / 50% / 0.5l
Product description
The history of Vana Tallinn began in 1960, when a team at the Liviko plant led by Ilse Maar, a true legend of Estonian liqueurs, created Vana Tallinn – an unprecedented blend of Jamaican rum, the best spices and exotic citrus fruits. They took their time trying different combinations until they managed to create a nearly perfect product, which has allowed it to remain unchanged to this day. Over the years, Liviko has also introduced other variants, including cream liqueurs and special editions. Since its introduction, Vana Tallinn has been sold over 115 million bottles, making it the most famous Estonian liqueur in the world.
Vana Tallinn in translation means "old Tallinn", referring to the capital of Estonia. We can also find references to this city in the appearance of the bottles, because despite the evolution over the years, the main motif is still the development of the Old Town in Tallinn with its medieval walls and towers, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Vana Tallinn Liqueur / 50% / 0.5l
The presented liqueur is the one and only – the first and unchanged over the years. Its uniqueness comes from the careful selection of completely natural ingredients, including vanilla, caramel, toffee and warming spices. Cinnamon bark adds a bitter accent. The closely guarded recipe is known only to Liviko craftsmen, who work mostly by hand for over a month so that we can enjoy the selected product. The presented variety has 50% alcohol, which gives it greater intensity, while maintaining an extraordinary harmony of flavors and aromas.
It is best drunk with ice, but it will be a great ingredient in countless cocktails, including variations based on the Negroni, Daiquiri or the popular Mojito. It will also work very well as an addition to hot drinks.
