Product description
For several years now, Highland Park Distillery has been enjoying a period of prosperity; in 2017, the brand's sales increased by 24% and reached a record level of 1.7 million bottles.
In the same year, the presentation was changed and an extremely attractive sales offer was introduced, which also affects the increase in sales. The basic offer now lists 7 whiskies aged from 10 to 40 years, plus editions intended for exclusive distribution in the Travel Retail network and limited editions (e.g. 50 years old). In 2016, Highland Park began issuing the Single Cask series, which has received over a hundred barrels to date, which translates into approximately one release per week. The whisky presented here, distilled in 2005, spent over 12 years in a puncheon sherry cask no. 3793. Bottled at cask strength (62.2% abv) in 2018 for the Austrian market in an edition of 642 bottles.
