Product description
Jack and Stephen Teeling founded The Teeling Whiskey Co. in Dublin in 2015.
Four years earlier their father John Teeling sold Cooley and Kilbeggan distilleries to Jim Beam Global excluding part of the inventory from the contract for further family bottlings. Teeling Imperial Stout Finish is a result of cooperation between Teeling Whiskey Co. and Galaway Bay Brewery. In the spring of 2016 Galaway Bay Brewery launched 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout aged in Teeling Whiskey Small Batch Rum Barrels. The barrels returned to the distillery and were used for finishing new batch of Telling whiskey for six months. The whiskey was bottled at 46% abv without chill-filtration. The bottle presented here was part of the batch released in February 2019.
