Product description
Connoisseurs Choice is one of the oldest whisky series in the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio.
It debuted in the mid-1960s, when most Scottish malt distilleries were producing for blenders, not even considering promoting their whiskies as single malts. Today, over half a century later, Connoisseurs Choice is still a successful competitor in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The Royal Brackla presented here was distilled in 1970, the year in which the then owner, DCL, installed a second pair of stills, and aged in American and European oak barrels for 16 years.
