Product description
Timorous Beastie Blended Malt debuted in the fall of 2014 as the third entry in the Douglas Laing & Co. Remarkable Regional Malts Collection. The series consists of five blended malts reflecting the character of a given whisky region.
Timorous Beastie is based on Highland single malts including Dalmore, Glengoyne, Glen Garioch and Blair Athol. According to Fred Laing, “it is the epitome of Highland whisky”, and its name refers to a poem by Scottish bard Robert Burns, To a Mouse, written after he destroyed a mouse nest on his farm. This first batch of Timorous Beastie 10 years old was released in January 2018.
