Product description
Ensō is a rather mysterious brand of Japanese whisky from the portfolio of Kiyokawa Company Ltd, about which we know just as little.
The blend formula, ingredients and proportions remain a secret of the creator, although the German importer of this whisky assures that Ensō is made from Japanese distillates (without revealing their origins), and the blending process takes place in Kiyokawa, a suburb of Tokyo. Japanese whiskies are characterized by an interesting presentation, and Ensō is no exception. The word means "circle" in Japanese, which, painted with a single brushstroke, is a symbol of Zen Buddhism.
Aroma : mild, fruity-floral, vanilla, caramel, plums, bananas, dates, apple blossoms, traces of hay and oak.
Taste : light and sweet, vanilla, fruit drops, brown sugar, baked apples, cherries and a trace of oak chips.
Finish : not too long, with notes of vanilla, brown sugar, sweet dried fruit and a touch of oak.
