Product description
In 2000, a group of private investors, owners of the distribution company Murray McDavid, purchased the closed Bruichladdich Distillery.
They were joined by Bowmore’s charismatic ambassador Jim McEwan, and soon the unwanted distillery became a model. Bruichladdich 12-year-old debuted in 2006 and was of course based on whisky distilled by the previous owners. While the first edition whisky was aged in sherry casks, the one presented here comes exclusively from bourbon casks.
