Product description
Sestante is a name that sends shivers through the throats of whisky connoisseurs and collectors.
The legendary Italian importer (and later also a bottler) operated on the whisky market from the late 70s to the early 90s. Currently, Sestante editions are considered "white crows" and are in the hands of whisky collectors, who very rarely decide to get rid of them. In 2000, the Silver Seal company was founded, considered the spiritual successor of Sestante, and the rights to both brands have been held by Massimo Righi for several years. The Port Ellen 1974 presented here is the original Sestante edition from 1990, a 15-year-old whisky bottled with a natural alcohol content (64.5%).
