Product description
Tequila Rooster Rojo is produced at the Fabrica de Tequilas Finos distillery, located in the city of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, at the foot of the Tequila volcano.
This is a relatively new tequila distillery, founded in 2000, although it is located in an old colonial building dating back to 1923. The tequila is made from 100 percent Blue Weber agave, which comes from Jalisco. It is distilled twice in stainless steel stills. The Reposado edition is aged for at least 2 months in French oak barrels.
Rooster Rojo Reposado tequila has a slightly oak aroma, with accents of ripe fruit and roasted agave. The taste includes accents of vanilla, caramel and roasted agave. The medium-long finish is smooth and rich, warming.
