For every whisky lover, Samaroli is synonymous with the highest quality and beauty. Silvano Samaroli began his career in the whisky market in 1968 and immediately focused on single cask editions .
In 2008, Samaroli left the management of the company in the hands of Antonio Bleve, but he himself played an active role until his death in February 2017. The Miltonduff presented here was distilled in 1994, aged in a first-fill American oak cask (no. 10614) and bottled at 45% abv in June 2006 in an edition of 392 bottles. Miltonduff Distillery is owned by Pernod Ricard, and its single malt is one of the key blends in the Ballantine's formula.
Aroma: fruity and grassy, apples, pears, bananas, dry flower petals, vanilla, hay, oatmeal, traces of cardamom and ginger.
Taste: vanilla, honey, breakfast cereals, apples, quince jelly, pineapples, candied ginger, a bit of cinnamon and dry herbs.
Finish : medium long, with notes of vanilla, apples, peaches, herbal spices and toasted oak.
