Product description
In the summer of 2018, Brown-Forman Corporation began releasing a new series of Jack Daniel's, the Legacy Edition Series.
Undoubtedly, every whisk(e)y lover is familiar with the black and white label of the standard Jack Old No. 7, but even fans of the brand may not know that its history contains much more colors. In 1904, Jack Daniel's whiskey won its first gold medal at the spirits fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Some time before that (Brown-Forman does not specify exactly when), Jack bottles were labeled with a green background surrounded by a gold border. As we learn, this was one of several color variants that Jack Daniel tested. The edition presented here, the first in the series, is provided with a replica of this very label. Jack Daniel's has been the most popular American whiskey for years, with global sales of almost 13 million cases per year (2017). If we ignore Indian blends (compiled with the participation of distillates produced from sugar molasses) in the sales statistics, Jack will be in second place, beaten only by Johnnie Walker.
