This excellent drink is made in Mexico, in the state of Chiapas, near the border with Guatemala. This city, famous for its sugar cane plantations, is considered the cradle of high-quality rums.
Deadhead is an excellent quality rum poured into the most innovative bottle ever produced. The shape of the bottle refers to a trophy called tsantsa, which is a shrunken head of a hunted monkey. It is supposed to have spiritual renewal properties. The rum is produced in small batches. Glacier water is used, purified and neutralized by reverse osmosis. It is made from fermented and twice-distilled cane juice in stills. After distillation, the drink is poured into European oak barrels and spends 5 years in them, all so that it can mature and acquire a beautiful color. Like other excellent rums, Deadhead is also aged using the solera method. Then the rum is enriched with locally grown, heavily roasted cocoa. In addition to the original bottle, we can be sure that it hides an excellent drink with a rich amber color and interesting taste values.
In its bouquet we will find accents of dark chocolate, but also vanilla, caramel, freshly baked wafers, butter, cherries, toffee, coffee and fudge.
