Murray McDavid is an independent bottler and distributor of Scotch whisky, based at the Coleburn Distillery in Speyside.
Founded in 1986 by, among others, Mark Reynier, it contributed to the reactivation and market success of the Bruichladdich distillery. In addition to bottling single malt and single grain whiskey, the company also prepares blended malt and blended whiskeys. Actively present on the Polish market since 2016.
Air Leth is a blended whiskey, consisting of half malt distillates and the other half one grain distillate (North British), all from the 1988 vintage. The malt distillates in this blend come from Caol Ila, Bowmore and Laphroaig. Air Leth means "unique" in Gaelic.
Edition from three barrels, limited to 636 bottles. Without caramel coloring, without cold filtering.
Aroma: delicate peat, herbal notes, peaches
Flavor: malted barley, plant peat, vanilla
Finish: exotic fruits, delicate peat
