Loch Lomond Distillery has followed its own path for quite some time.
It has been distilling malt and grain spirit in one facility; moreover it also produces vodka and gin. Loch Lomond brand includes single malt, single grain as well as blended whiskies. Loch Lomond Signature is a de luxe blended whisky, which after 4-5 years long maturation in traditional oak casks is then married and conditioned in 100-barrel solera system. The solera system combines Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks previously re-charred. Loch Lomond Signature scored silver medal at the 2016 International Wine & Spirits Competition. Loch Lomond Distillery produces 5 million liters of malt whisky and 18 million liters of grain whisky annually.
