Product description
In 2014, after years of investing in the distillery and brand, Diageo sold Bushmills to Casa Cuervo, producers of the world’s most popular tequila, José Cuervo.
In December 2015, new owners announced a £30m investment to double production capacity and increase storage space. The Red Bush featured here debuted in the US in March 2017, just before St Patrick’s Day, as an extension of Bushmills’ blended whisky range. It is blended from 70% grain and 30% malt distillate aged in fresh third-proof bourbon casks and bottled without an age statement. (Remember, both White Bush and Black Bush contain whisky aged in sherry casks.)
