Product description
The King of Soho Gin debuted in October 2013 in the offer of West End Drinks Company founded by Howard Raymond and Alex Robson.
Its patron is Paul Raymond (Howard's father), a man who opened many clubs and theatres in Soho, founded the first "members-only strip club" in the UK (1958), produced porn films and later became a major player in the London property market. This latter activity earned him the title "King of Soho". The King of Soho Gin is quadruple distilled at the Thames Distillery in London; its formula includes 12 botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander, grapefruit peel, angelica root and cassia bark. The eye-catching and symbolic presentation of the gin perfectly captures the character of Soho.
The King of Soho is a traditional London Dry gin, with aromas of juniper, citrus and to a lesser extent spices. The dominant elements in the taste are grapefruit and pine needles complemented by notes of coriander, cinnamon and a pinch of pepper. "The King of Soho" tastes great in Martini, and also with tonic garnished with a slice of lime and pink grapefruit.
