Product description
RL Seale's Barbados Rum is a spirit produced by Richard Seale at the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados.
Richard Seale, in turn, is the great-grandson of Reginald Leon Seale, who founded the distillery in 1926. That was also when the RL Seale brand was born. And although the distillery went through turbulent fortunes and was closed at some point due to market turmoil, the tradition of rum distillation was revived in 1996, opening a new plant that is still operating today. The rum itself is a classic molasses-based drink, distilled in traditional copper stills. Matured in oak barrels after American bourbon for 10 years, it is bottled in characteristic black bottles as a drink with an alcoholic strength of 46% (previously it was 43%).
